Local: Mission Eatery & Knead Patisserie
Project Status: Completed 2010
This project included a new restaurant and bakery on the ground floor of a 100+ year old historic San Francisco Victorian building. The design aesthetic was influenced by the vibrant and eclectic energy of the neighborhood, while the material selection reflected a commitment to locally sourced or salvaged materials wherever possible.
Pictured: A new storefront was constructed using salvaged doug fir found on site, cedar siding, and locally manufactured Heath ceramic tile. Custom steel signage fabricated in San Francisco by Matthew Granelli with screen printed wood inserts by Jon Fischer.
